RS Villas started life in 2001 when we decided to purchase a rental villa. We initially thought about a villa in Spain, as we had lived and worked in San Antonio Ibiza from 1972 to 1976. However after reading several magazines and going to various shows advertising villas we decided that Spain was not going to fulfil what we had in mind. Firstly the property market was getting very expensive and secondly the rental season was getting shorter. We figured that you would be lucky to get a 6 month’s rental period. We had also been told about the Land Grab situation whereby even if you owned the deeds to the property  builders could apply to the government for permission to take part of your land for urban development, whether you protested or not. The final insult being that you could be asked to pay towards the cost of the development.
 
With this in mind we turned our thoughts to Florida, the number one tourist attraction in the world. We went on an inspection and fact finding tour and came back with our first 6 bed villa. We have now had our villa for over three years and we are pleased to report that as each year goes by we are increasing our rental income and extending our rental period.
